Watermelon Salad with Watermelon Purée

Directions

  1. Watermelon Purée: Blend the 3 cups seedless watermelon pieces into a juice. This blended juice is also refreshing to drink on its own!
  2. Pour 1/4 cup melon purée into each individual serving bowl.
  3. Place the melon balls into the purée.
  4. Garnish and serve.

  • Watermelon is a rich source of vitamin A, a powerful antioxidant. The phytonutrients lycopene and carotenoids present in watermelon are thought to help protect cells and other structures in the body from oxygen free radicals.
