Burrata ("buttered" in Italian) is made from mozzarella cheese and cream. The outside is mozzarella, while the inside contains a mixture of mozzarella and cream, giving it a soft texture.
Directions
- Arrange the tomato wedges and burrata on individual plates.
- Garnish with the basil leaves.
- Dress with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with crusty bread.
