Blueberry oatmeal bars are a great wholesome recipe to make the night before an early morning departure for school. It is also a wonderful snack to send along in your child's lunch box. This recipe was a big success among the preschoolers this morning.
It is also a fun idea to take out your favorite cookie cutters and create a variety of shapes. For Valentine's Day we are going to create "Blueberry Oatmeal Hearts."
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Coat a large baking pan with a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
- Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 20 minutes, until dry in the middle.
- Cool and cut into desired shapes.
